Producers who supply us with their excellent wares
Giant soft pretzels from Piller’s Bakery
Our hearty giant pretzels are perfect for sharing. We buy these delectable pretzels from the Piller Bakery here in Munich. Thanks to the Oktoberfest, this “Breze” is especially well-known. Plenty people in Munich will tell you, a Piller “Breze” is the best way to start off the Oktoberfest. Because his bakery supplies not only a number of festival tents at the Oktoberfest, but independent pretzel sellers as well, Oswald Piller has invented his own pretzel-twisting machine. With that, he can twist up to 2800 pretzels per hour.
Crusty bread from the Brotmanufaktur Schmidt
We buy our delicious bread from the Brotmanufaktur Schmidt (Schmidt Bakery) here in Munich, where they use only the highest quality ingredients. Only the best is good enough to make this crusty bread. That’s exactly why we selected the Brotmanufaktur Schmidt, which has been in business since the early 19th century.
The beef for our Stiftl Burger comes from Bayern Ox
The establishment of the brand BayernOX is the result of an initiative by restaurant owners in Munich’s city centre. They have set themselves the goal of obtaining their restaurants’ beef directly from the region around Munich.
The Bayern Ox products come from Bavarian farms near Miesbach, Traunstein and Weilheim.
Fish from the Eisvogel Fish Farm in Molln
The Eisvogel Fish Farm in Molln is located inside the Kalkalpen Nature Reserve. Bounded by the mountain river “Krumme Steyrling”, the fish ponds were created in the 1960s. The Eisvogel Fish Farm’s motto is "Aus reiner Natur" (purely natural) – and that is also the reason why we very much wanted to work with the Eisvogel Fish Farm.
Beer from Hacker Pschorr
We are delighted to have a partner as experienced as Hacker-Pschorr at our side. It was of primary importance for us that we offer a wide variety of beers and we achieved our goal, thanks to all the fine beers produced by Hacker-Pschorr. In addition to Münchner Hell (Munich pale ale), we offer Kellerbier (cellar beer), Hefe Weiße (yeast wheat beer) and Stern Weiße (Star wheat beer), as well as Braumeister Pils (master brewer’s pilsner) and Münchner Dunkel (Munich dark beer). We’d like to respond to the latest beer trends as well, so we decided to put EISWERK on our menu, plus we offer three different "craft beers". Paulaner is back on our beverage menu and we’re now serving a popular trend beer as well: the “Zwickl”.
